在外留学的同学们难免会有想家的时候，最然现在跟父母语音通话、视频通话都很方便，但相信还是有很多同学都想邀请爸妈来英国看看自己，一起在英国旅旅游，或是参加自己的毕业典礼。那么今天呢，小编就和大家说说要怎么帮爸妈办理来英国的签证，尤其是爸爸妈妈英语不是很好的情况下。
爸爸妈妈要申请这种的是Standard Visitor Visa(标准旅游签证)，有效期六个月，如果还想去欧洲玩的话，需要另外申请申根签。
第一步：
你要提供的材料
1. 入学证明
这个学校会为你办理的。注意要用日期较新的证明，最好是一两个星期之内的。如果你准备邀请爸妈参加毕业典礼的话，还可以准备一个关于毕业典礼的证明，同样学校会为你开具。
2. 邀请函
很多同学会觉得邀请函是不是应该很正式，需要找学校开具。其实没有必要，下面是英国北京大使馆签证办理负责人的原话，他说校方只需要提供一个你就读于某大学的证明或关于毕业典礼的证明就可以了，其他的应该由学生自己准备。
那自己DIY的邀请函应该包括哪些：
1）来访者（即你的父母）的全名和出生日期
2）你们之间的关系，如父子关系
3）为什么要来看你，如和你一起旅游，或者参加毕业典礼
4）他们打算呆多久，最好具体写出他们到来和离开的日期
5）准备呆哪里。因为你的父母要去看你，所以可以提供你自己的住址，详细说说你的居住情况
6）你自己的签证情况，如Tier 4 学生签证17年10月到期

第二步：
把这些材料都发给你的爸妈，然后要注意下的是，你的爸妈不可以在访英期间从事工作，不论是否有偿。
最早可以提前三个月申请签证，申请后三周之内得到答复（具体咨询当地签证中心）。有一点要注意，需要说明你希望签证生效的时间，不然会默认在签发当天生效。
签证申请费用的是95英镑。
第三步：
父母这边也需要准备一些材料：
护照、身份证、户口本、或暂住证
机票、行程单（如果有详细安排，最好带上）
有存款记录的存折、工资单、公司经营证明、法人代表证明、房产证明等，证明父母不会滞留英国
亲属关系证明、父母结婚证、最近的家庭合影照片
