英国的留学签证统称TIER4 Student Visa一般分为两类，一种是语言签证(需要前往英国先就读语言课程达到要求的雅思才能开始正课学习)，一种是正课签证(凭正式OFFER)办理签证。在进行申请前要对英国的签证申请材料有初步的了解，在这其中最重要的就是CAS(Confirmation of Acceptance Statement). CAS是由英国学校和英国移民局确认学生入学信息而出具的信息表(包括了CAS号码、学校的代码、执照代码、课程名称、上课时间、学费生活费等关键信息)，要求学生获得无条件录取才能取得。只有确定有CAS才能开始签证的申请。在整个英国签证申请中，一切信息的填写以CAS为标准。
PART ONE 英国签证材料准备清单
第一类：录取公文类
1. 语言课录取正式OFFER (如有)
2. 正课录取条件OFFER
3. Confirmation of Acceptance Statement (CAS)
4. ATAS 认证(如需要)：ATAS 认证，若CAS 上有JAC Code 说明, 则需要做ATAS 认证(大概需要45 天左右时间)offer 或者CAS 上有说明是否需要认证。
第二类：手续资料类
1. 网上签证申请表 VAF9
2. 签证费3410RMB(要求网上支付)
第三类：个人资料类
1. 个人护照大小的彩色照片两张(白底)
2. 个人护照(有效期大于6个月)
3. 雅思成绩单原件(雅思成绩单必须与CAS所显示的雅思成绩一致)
4. 出生证明和户口本原件(假如存款不是存在学生名下，需要证明学生与出资人的关系)
5. 父母同意资助信(假如存款不是存在学生名下)
6. 中英文成绩单原件(语言签证不需要此项)
7. 中英文毕业证原件(语言签证不需要此项)
8. 中英文学位证原件(语言签证不需要此项)
9. 肺结核体检报告(官方规定在英国逗留时间超过6个月都必须递交肺结核体检报告)
第四类：资金证明类
1. 资金必须以存款形式，可提供银行存单、存折或盖有公章的银行对账单原件三项中的一项。
2. 存款证明(定期/活期存款都可以，但是要保证存款必须有至少28天的存期记录，即：假如7月1日办理签证，钱必须要在6月3日前存进银行，才能在出具存款证明是显示开户时间和冻结时间之间相差大于28天)所存入的金额要覆盖学生一年的学费和生活费(具体金额以CAS为准)。
3. 存款必须开具存款证明，冻结期限建议2-3 个月(存款强烈建议定期，因为一些银行不能为活期存款开存款证明;建议存25万-30万。
4. 存款证明开出后一个月内必须递签。如存期不到28 天，签证会拒签或无法递交签证;
5. 如存款证明开出超过一个月尚未递交签证，则必须重新开具新的存款证明
第五类：翻译文件
所有的中文文件都必须配有由正规翻译公司出具的英文翻译，所有的有可能出现的中文包括(学校中文成绩单、学位证、毕业证、存款证明上的银行公章)。翻译公司在出具相关英文材料时需要在每一页上写上翻译人的姓名、联系电话、翻译人签名、翻译时间、翻译人翻译证书、翻译公司中英文公章。如下表：

特别注意：
1. 凡是中文全部都要翻译成英文，包括盖的章。翻译版本的格式尽量与原件格式一致。
2. 关于成绩单学位证毕业证的翻译
一般来说，成绩单是学校直接出具的，假如没有英文版的，可以本人翻译以后盖学校的红章。
盖了学校红章的成绩单，就说明是学校出具的官方的(不管是不是你本人翻译的)有效力的
文件，不需要再单独翻译。包括学位证和毕业证，假如你的翻译件上盖了学校的红章，就不
需要单独翻译。但是，假如没有学校盖章的话就需要单独翻译了。
第六类：材料复印件
英国签证中心只负责核对申请人所提交的材料是否足够，是否配有足够的英文翻译，不负责审理签证是否通过。在递签后，部分材料不会返回。因此，任何原件材料(如存款证明、户口本、出生证明、雅思原件、学位证、毕业证等)一定要附上复印件。大使馆开出签证时会退还你原件材料，以复印件留作记录。翻译件不需要复印。
Part Two 英国签证申请流程
从2014年3月起，英国签证采用全新的申请系统，所有签证申请、预约、缴费都在网上完成。申请人完成所有步骤直接打印申请表即可。网申系统的资料保留30天，30天后不提交申请资料自动无效。

1. 首先用邮箱注册一个帐号，点击Register An Account (这个邮箱是递签后签证中心与申请人的主要联系方式，请保存好邮箱地址与密码)
2.通过邮件认证点击Apply for Myself后进入个人账户，进入资料填写页。
3. 填写资料时，请注意VISA ISSUING OFFICE处千万不能选择MFA外办，该种签证属于公务签证，一旦保存不能修改。
4. Select Visa Type
Reason for visit 选择 Study
Visa type 选择 PBS Tier 4 Student
Visa sub type 选择 Tier 4 (General) Student (如有奖学金泽选SCHOLARSHIP or Sponsored)
6. 点击Create Application 后会看到这个页面
7. 点击Go To Application 完善其他个人资料
8. 填写完资料之后提交申请SUBMIT APPLICATION之后进入下一步SIGN DECLARATION
9. 接下来完成BOOK APPOINTMENT, PAY FOR APPLICATION 即可
10. 付款结束之后，请点击PRINT APPLICATION。打印出来这份申请表将是递签的重要文件，请贴上照片好好保存。
11. 申请表打印出后来，请在申请表写有名字的地方附上中文和中文电码。如：申请人姓名、申请人父母姓名。电码查询地址：http://apps.chasedream.com/chinese-commercial-code/
12. 申请表打印出来后，表格上有两处地方申请人本人签字，请仔细填写。
Part Three 英国签证肺结核检查
英国边境服务局颁布的2014年最新的签证申请要求。出示肺结核检测的健康证件将纳入申请6个月以上长期签证的申请者，除非是受到英国移民法的豁免，如否则包括留学(如已满11周岁)与工作类的申请人都将进行此项检测。
专家建议留学生提前2-3月进行检测
据了解，进行检测时，申请人需要提供身份证和护照。检测项目主要是胸部X射线，费用为550元人民币，直接向医院交纳。如果通过胸部X射线检查尚无定论，医院可能要求申请者进行痰标本检查。由于痰标本检查可能需要两个月才能出结果，建议学生提前2-3个月进行检测，以免耽误递签时间。
准备材料如下：
1. 护照及一张复印件、身份证
2. 费用为RMB 550/次
3. 半年内大一寸白底彩色照片两张;
4. 提供签证类型，现居地的详细住址(包括中英文)、联系电话和邮箱，及国外留学所在地的联系地址和邮编
5. 正常情况下，证件的有效期为半年，请在办理签证时连同所有材料一拼递交;
申请其他国家签证时所办理得肺结核证明将不被认授
Part Four 英国签证面试
凡是TIER 4 签证申请的学生，都需要进行面试。面试的主要目的是审核学生是否有移民倾向和签证目的是否明确。面试的形式主要是网络面试，申请人在递签之后会等待叫号，进入方面，通过耳机、麦克风、电脑与面试官进行远程面试。因此，在面试前请调试好话筒和麦克风，假如听不清对方的问题，要礼貌的请求重复。
