Personal Background:
Mr Wang graduated from a normal mid-ranking university in China, and at the first stage we assisted him with was his master’s degree offer from the University of Birmingham, majoring in Marketing. Then he decided to continue his studies to PhD level due to his admiration for the rigorous attitude towards academic study in Britain. However, since this was his first year living in the UK, he had no experience in applying for a PhD. We assisted him in defining a clear question and persuaded potential supervisors of his strong work ethic, genuine desire to complete a PhD and why he was the right person to undertake it. He successfully received three PhD offers from Sussex University, Kent University and Kings College London. We wish him a very bright future!
